Q: WILL PERMITS BE REQUIRED?
A. Typically permits are not required. However, you should consider the following items:
- If your property is governed by a HOA or Property Management Company there may be additional approvals required prior to the commencement of work.
- The homeowner shall provide all easements (or dedicated areas) within 50 feet of the project area, including but not limited to: utility easements, water supply easements, access easements, open space easements, coastal commission easements or any other area that may restrict construction.
- Lighting, retaining walls and fences may require a permit.
Q: WHAT IS THE EXPECTED DURATION OF CONSTRUCTION FROM START TO FINISH?
A. We usually complete new court(s) in five (5) weeks from start to finish! Weather permitting.
Q: WHAT ARE THE STANDARD DIMENSIONS OF A PICKLEBALL COURT?
A: Standard court dimensions are 60 ft. by 30 ft. with the playing lines being 22 ft. by 44 ft. Dimensions can be adjusted depending on the available space and the customer's needs.
Q: CAN THE COURT COLORS BE CUSTOMIZED AND CAN LOGOS OR MASCOTS BE INCLUDED IN THE DESIGN?
A: Yes, our customers can customize their court(s) in a variety of ways including colors, logos, mascot designs, court size, equipment, fixtures, surface material, etc. The possibilities are endless!
Q: WHAT MATERIALS ARE USED FOR the surface of PICKLEBALL COURTS?
A: The surface materials typically include concrete with an acrylic coating (and may include padded coatings). However, there are a variety of materials that can be used such as high-impact polypropylene tiles or asphalt. Our Project Estimator will evaluate the site conditions and will provide options depending on existing circumstances and the customer's requests.
